Empezó el fútbol masculino de la versión XXII de los Juegos Deportivos Nacionales Eje Cafetero, el cual se disputará en Manizales y Armenia desde el 19, hasta el 24 de noviembre de 2023, con la participación de las 8 ligas clasificadas, distribuidas en dos grupos:

La primera fecha se jugó el domingo 19 de noviembre en la Cancha Auxiliar Luis Fernando Montoya de Manizales y el Estadio Centenario, donde los ganadores fueron Caldas y Valle, respectivamente, quienes asumieron el liderato de sus grupos, A y B, respectivamente.
GRUPO A
Caldas superó por la mínima diferencia a Meta con anotación de Airam Nicolás Parra, con lo que se ubicó como primero del grupo y Meta en la última casilla del grupo.
Antioquia y Bolívar empataron a un tanto con goles de Richardson David Rivas para Antioquia y de Naysher Abarcas para Bolívar. Son segundo y tercero, respectivamente.

Valle goleó 4 por 1 a Sucre, con 2 anotaciones de Alejandro Villarreal, 1 de Fabián Arboleda y 1 de Daniel Steven Castillo y es primero del grupo con 3 puntos.
Bogotá y Risaralda empataron a un gol, con anotación de Holman Camilo Mccormick para los capitalinos y de Yeimar Jesús Romero para los risaraldenses. Son segundo y tercero, respectivamente, con 1 unidad cada uno.
Sucre descontó ante Valle por intermedio de Luis Romero y es último sin puntos.
